The CBC-E6 Car Battery Charger from Canon is designed for use with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II Digital SLR camera. This unit can be used to charge a battery for the 5D Mark II from the standard lighter outlet in your automobile.

High-end capacity is seen in the Battery Charger LC-E4, taking about 120 minutes to recharge one battery pack. Configured for calibration, the LC-E4 can be used to check recharge status.

This dedicated charger recharges Ni-MH Pack NP-E2 and NP-E3 quickly, taking about 100 minutes for one Pack. It also prevents excess charging. Two packs can be attached at one time. The discharge feature (taking about 8.5 hours) cancels the battery pack's memory effect. Supplied with USA plug connection, but has a voltage range of 100 - 240v AC, and can be used worldwide with the right outlet adapter.

With NiMH Pack NP-E2, Power Drive Booster PB-E2 can attain a top continuous shooting speed of about 10 fps on the EOS-1v or 7 fps on the EOS-3. The vertical grip has its own shutter button, Main Dial, AE lock button, FE lock button, and focusing point selector. It makes vertical shooting as easy as horizontal shooting. The external cover is made of magnesium alloy for improved ruggedness. This power drive booster is compatible (with limited functions) with the EOS-1 and EOS-1N (with standard battery holder BM-E2 only, Ni-MH Pack NP-E2 can't be used).
